DIPLOMATE  CERTIFICATION  BY  THE  AMERICAN  BOARD  OF  GERIATRIC  MEDICINE

WE AWARD DIPLOMATE CERTIFICATION IN GERIATRIC MEDICINE.
WE CONSIDER GERIATRIC MEDICINE AS A TRUE MEDICAL SPECIALTY
AND NOT JUST A TIED IN CERTIFICATE TIED TO THE TAIL OF INTERNAL MEDICINE.
WE DO NOT GIVE CERTIFICATE OF ADDED QUALIFICATION
WE DO NOT GIVE :CAQ OR CIQ OR ADDED ANYTHING.
WE GIVE SELECTED PHYSICIANS WITH STRONG GERIATRICS BACKGROUND
CERTIFICATION AS A DIPLOMATE IN GERIATRIC MEDICINE
WITH NO TYING-IN
AND NO INFERIOR STANDING FOR THE TRUE SPECIALTY OF GERIATRIC MEDICINE.
WE DO NOT REQUIRE INTERNAL MEDICINE CERTIFICATION.
WE BELIEVE AND IT IS OUR STRONG OPINION THAT TYING IN GERIATRIC MEDICINE CERTIFICATION TO INTERNAL MEDICINE CERTIFICATION
MAY HAVE SERIOUS IMPLICATIONS IN TERMS OF THE SHERMAN ANTITRUST ACT.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL NOW AWARD LIFETIME CERTIFICATION.
WITH NO NEED FOR PHYSICIANS IN ACTIVE PRACTICE LOSING PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY FOR RECERTIFICATION.
TODAY PHYSICIANS ARE UNDER GREAT STRAIN AND PRESSURE IN AMERICAN MEDICINE
AND WE BELIEVE THAT THE BURDEN ON
A PHYSICIAN AND ON HIS PATIENTS AND OFFICE STAFF
OF HAVING TO SPEND SIX MONTHS OR MORE STUDYING TO RECERTIFY
AS WELL AS SEEING PATIENTS
AND TRYING TO SURVIVE IN THESE ECONOMIC TIMES
IS TOO GREAT A BURDEN FOR THE ACTIVE PHYSICIAN
AND A HARDSHIP ON HIS PRACTICE AND PATIENTS.

NOTIFICATION
THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GERIATRIC MEDICINE WILL FILE A NOTIFICATION LETTER
WITH MEDICARE AND MEDICAID
EVERY TWELVE MONTHS
NOTIFICATION IS WITH REGARD TO EACH NEW DIPLOMATE IN GERIATRIC MEDICINE

A REGISTERED PUBLIC BENEFIT NOT FOR PROFIT MEDICAL ORGANIZATION THAT IS OFFICIALLY REGISTERED TO CERTIFY AND TO ENCOURAGE MEDICAL EXCELLENCE IN GERIATRICS, MEDICAL PRACTICE, EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY BY OUTSTANDING MEDICAL DOCTORS, AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE IN GERIATRICS.

THE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GERIATRIC MEDICINE IS TO PROMOTE GERIATRICS AND WORK
TO
DEVELOP RECOGNITION OF GERIATRICS AS A MEDICAL SPECIALTY IN ITS OWN RIGHT.
WE ALSO STAND FOR EMPHASIS OF HUMANITARIAN, RELIGIOUS, AND FAMILY VALUES IN MEDICINE.
SECULAR MEDICINE IN AMERICA HAS COME TO IGNORE THE HUMANITY, KINDNESS, RELIGIOUS, AND FAMILY ASPECTS AND VALUES IN MEDICINE TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE PATIENT AND THE PHYSICIAN AND SOCIETY.
AMERICA HAS ALWAYS BEEN A HUMANITARIAN, KIND, GENEROUS, RELIGIOUS, FAMILY-ORIENTED, AND OPTIMISTIC NATION AND ATTRACTS THE FINEST MINDS FROM ALL NATIONS OF THE WORLD,
AND THIS HAS MADE AMERICA THE GREATEST NATION ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.
AMERICAN MEDICINE, IN EMPHASIS ON SCIENTIFIC MEDICINE, HAS DOWNPLAYED THE HUMANITARIAN, SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS, AND EMPATHETIC ASPECTS OF HEALING. WE STAND FOR THE EMPHASIS OF HUMANITARIAN, RELIGIOUS, AND FAMILY  VALUES IN MEDICINE IN AMERICA IN ADDITION TO SCIENTIFIC EXCELLENCE.

THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GERIATRIC MEDICINE IN CONCERT WITH THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF ETHICAL PHYSICIANS, THE CONGREGATION OF RELIGIOUS MEDICAL MINISTRIES, AND THE WORLDWIDE MINISTRIES OF JESUS CHRIST, HAS RECENTLY ESTABLISHED A HOMELESS SHELTER FOR ABUSED WOMEN IN NEVADA. WE BELIEVE THIS HUMANITARIAN, MEDICAL, RELIGIOUS APPROACH IS ALSO EXEMPLIFIED BY OUR DEVELOPING PLANS FOR HUMANITARIAN MEDICAL MISSIONS AND FREE CLINICS TO HELP THE POOR IN HURRICANE-DEVASTATED TABAC CITY IN THE BICOL REGION OF SOUTHEAST LUZON IN THE PHILIPPINES.

ALL DIPLOMATES OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GERIATRIC MEDICINE ARE AUTOMATICALLY AWARDED

WE DO NOT LIMIT THE FIELD OF GERIATRICS TO INTERNAL MEDICINE OR FAMILY PRACTICE:

WITHIN THE FIELD OF GERIATRICS MEDICAL PRACTICE.
WE PARTICULARLY EMPHASIZE PHYSICIANS OF ETHICAL AND HUMANITARIAN EXCELLENCE,
WE ENCOURAGE THE INCLUSION OF THOSE QUALITIES IN
THE EVERYDAY PRACTICE OF MEDICINE.
IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT KINDNESS, HUMANITARIANISM,LOVE OF MANKIND, LOVE OF GOD, ETHICS,  RELIGIOUS VALUES, AND FAMILY VALUES MUST BE EMPHASIZED IN MEDICINE IN AMERICA AND

THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GERIATRIC MEDICINE IS A REGISTERED PUBLIC BENEFIT MEDICAL ORGANIZATION THAT IS OFFICIALLY REGISTERED AS A CORPORATION TO CERTIFY AND TO ENCOURAGE MEDICAL EXCELLENCE IN GERIATRICS, MEDICAL PRACTICE, EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY BY OUTSTANDING MEDICAL DOCTORS, AND ENCOURAGEMEMT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE IN GERIATRIC MEDICINE.

WE ARE AN OFFICIAL COMPONENT OF THE UNITED STATES MEDICAL SPECIALISTS FEDERATION

WE ARE A COMPONENT OF THE CONGREGATION OF FELLOWSHIP ORGANIZATIONS FOR MEDICAL, HUMANITARIAN, SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND RELIGIOUS MINISTRIES

----------------------------------------

THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONGREGATION OF FELLOWSHIP ORGANIZATIONS FOR MEDICAL, HUMANITARIAN, SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND RELIGIOUS MINISTRIES BLOG:
Our organization and affiliates include over 5,000 active physicians and over 300 U.S. medical school professors.
We emphasize ethical, religious, humanitarian values.

There are OTHER private medical organizations that believe they should have total control of Medicine and that DISDAIN AND DENIGRATE AND DESPISE our emphasis on kindness
AND humanitarian, religious, and family values that should be the heart and soul of the humane profession of Medicine.
THERE IS ANOTHER private medical organization THAT SPEAKS AS IF AND pretendS to be "official" and "Guardian of Medicine" in that they emphasize science only, and thAT organization OPPOSES AND despiseS our emphasis on humanitarian, religious, family values.
Our mission is to promote the true values in Medicine of kindness, humanitarian, ethical, religious, family values in Medicine
Our organizations always emphasize ethical and humanitarian questions on every application:

"WITH EMPHASIS ON HUMANITY, INTEGRITY, KINDNESS, RELIGIOUS AND FAMILY VALUES IN MEDICINE:
WILL YOU TRY AT ALL TIMES TO BE HUMANE AND KIND AND BRING RELIGIOUS LOVE OF HUMANITY TO YOUR MEDICAL PRACTICE AND ENDEAVOR TO BE A TRULY HUMANITARIAN PHYSICIAN?"

"DO YOU PROMISE TO MAINTAIN THE HIGH STANDARD OF KINDNESS AND HUMANITY EXEMPLIFIED BY THE GOLDEN RULE, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, AND SIMILAR LAWS BY MAJOR WORLD RELIGIONS EXEMPLIFYING HIGHEST IDEALS OF ETHICS AND HUMANITARIAN PHILOSOPHY?"

We support American fee-for-service medical care, endorse higher payments for physicians and promote the free enterprise system, AND humanitarian, religious, family values, and high ethical standards.
This humanitarian religious approach is exemplified by our developing plans for medical missions and free clinics to help the poor in hurricane-devastated Tabac City in the Bicol Region of Southeast Luzon, Philippines, and our now providing a Homeless Shelter for abused women in Southern Nevada, in conjunction with Worldwide Ministries.

Yet, there exists A COMPETITOR medical organization that while private holds itself up as "official"
and it is not "official" at all, and that organization, by acting to destroy competition, self-servingly claims to be "protecting America" as it drives out Christian competitors and Religious Medical Organizations THAT advocatE Prayer, the Golden Rule, Christian Love for Mankind, Charity, Compassion, and Family Values in Medicine.

In attacking humanitarian approaches to Medicine, that same private and secular organization even attacks the American College of Christian Physicians and the American College of Ethical Physicians.

It is hard to forgive that private and would-be "official" medical organization that even attacks the following:

THE LETTER OF INVITATION TO THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF CHRISTIAN PHYSICIANS:
We are a Christian Medical Organization certifying outstanding Christian Physicians and we grant appointment as Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Christian Physicians.
We believe that Christian Physicians deserve recognition from peers and from patients, and they should know that their physician is a practitioner of true Christian Values and the Ideals of Christianity. We believe in Jesus Christ and accept the Bible as the Word of God. It is our belief that Science and Applications of Science in Medicine must give attention to God and Christian Values in Medicine.
The American College of Christian Physicians stands for excellence in medical care within the scope of Christian Beliefs, Christian Love, and true Christian Values. We believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour. Our mission is to bring Reverence for God and Christian Values to an important place in Medicine and to emphasize Love, Compassion, and Humane Respect for Life, Family, and Traditional Christian Values.
We believe Modern Medicine has forgotten God and ignored Jesus Christ as the true Healer of Mankind. We join other physicians to reshape Medicine into a more kind, humane, Christian profession. We certify Diplomates in Christian Medicine and Distinguished Fellows of the American College of Christian Physicians.
It is with this goal of advancing Christian Values and Ideals in Medicine that we certify physicians who practice Christian Medicine.
OUR Distinguished Fellows are appointed for life on the basis of your background in Medicine, including Ethical and Christian background and Christian Values. Our mission is for Christianity in Medicine and to bring Faith and Christian Love to an important place in Medicine. We believe Christian Medicine deserves its own medical board independent of any other board, or any other organization. We believe Christian Faith has been neglected in Medicine for too long and we embrace Christian Values in Medicine. We require a statement that you accept Jesus Christ and that you will practice Christian Medicine, with Love, Understanding, Compassion, Kindness, Forgiveness, and Christian Beliefs and Values.
THE WEBSITE OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF CHRISTIAN PHYSICIANS STATES:
“THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF CHRISTIAN PHYSICIANS IS DEDICATED TO THE PROMOTION OF AMERICAN FAMILY VALUES AND THE ENDORSEMENT AND PROMULGATION OF CHRISTIAN VALUES OF LOVE, KINDNESS, COMPASSION, FORGIVENESS, UNDERSTANDING, AND RECOGNITION OF ALMIGHTY GOD AS THE TRUE SOURCE OF ALL HEALING.”
“The American College of Christian Physicians stands for excellence in medical care within the scope of Christian Love and true Christian values. We believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Our mission is to bring God back into Medicine and to try to bring Christ and Love and Compassion and Humane Respect for Life and Family and Traditional Christian Values. We believe that Modern Medicine and Science have forgotten God and have ignored Jesus Christ as the one true Healer of Mankind. We seek to join with other physicians of similar beliefs and values who practice Christian Medicine. Our immediate mission is to promote Christianity in American Medicine and to work to restore Faith and Christian Love in Medicine.”

We feel a sense of pity for the private "official" medical organization that is so insecure and hateful, that even the above Christian, Religious, Humanitarian Values are attacked and defamed AND DISDAINED.

We believe that the physician should not hate or drive out competition or scorn religious values. A true physician is Kind and Humanitarian and Loves Mankind and does not act as a cold businessman who destroys competitioRS.
